Two murtis can look identical in a photograph

A few moulds, and a face nobody recognises

Walk through any market and you will find that the idols come from a small number of moulds, copied and re-copied until the jawline softens and the eyes lose their definition. What you are left with is recognisably a god, but not recognisably anyone.

So that is the first thing we look at: a face you could recognise from across a room, or from the driver's seat. If a murti does not have it, we do not list it.

Chosen for the place it will actually sit

Most of these murtis end up on a car dashboard rather than on a shelf, so we look for a base wide enough and flat enough to sit steady on a slope, and a finish that can survive an afternoon in a parked car.

After that it is a question of size. Four inches for a dashboard, six to eight inches for a shelf or an entrance, and larger for a mandir. Decide where it will sit, and the size follows.

Record a video while you open the parcel, starting before you cut the tape. If the murti is damaged, send us that video on WhatsApp and we will send a replacement. You will not have to argue with the courier, fill in a form, or pay anything to return it.

Questions

Which size should I choose?

Three to four inches for a car dashboard, and six inches or more for a home mandir. Every product page lists the size of that murti.

If you are unsure, send us a photo of the space on WhatsApp and we will tell you which size fits.

How long does delivery take?

Usually three to eight days. The exact day depends on where the order is going. Shipping is free on every order.

Is cash on delivery available?

Yes, anywhere in India. You pay ₹59 online to confirm the order and the balance to the delivery agent at your door. Paying the full amount by UPI instead saves a further ₹99.

What if the murti arrives damaged?

We replace it. Record a video while you open the parcel, starting before you cut the tape, and send us that video on WhatsApp. A new murti goes out. You will not have to argue with the courier, fill in a form, or pay anything to return the damaged one.

Replacements cover damage in transit. We are not able to take a murti back once it has reached you undamaged, so please check the size and the photographs before ordering, or ask us on WhatsApp first.
